Biometric Security Through Visual Encryption for Fog Edge Computing.(May 2017)

Aim:

The main stay of this project is related to security and privacy of biometric content are simpler to solve through edge computing resulting in improved security and privacy of biometric and other critically private information.

Proposed system:

The proposed solution for the security of biometric images enabled through the Weber Local Descriptor (WLD) based zero-watermarking allows for watermarking the unique user identity number into the image. Zero-watermarking allows for the water marking of multimedia content but without making any changes to it. On the other hand visual cryptography generate watermarked image. These shares individually reveal no information about the contents of the image and even if an eavesdropper or attacker gains access to the shares, he is not able to collect meaningful information regarding the user or his identity without the correct secret key.
